It was pretty low key this year. I always make a BIG deal of the 1st birthday so the 2nd ends up being just a family affair. We decided last minute to go to Logan to pick up a dishwasher (long story short ours broke & found killer deal on KSL) on Tayden's birthday so we decided to make it a little birthday getaway. He was thrilled about staying at a hotel & getting to swim. What more does a two year old want?
Logan got a TON of snow while we were there. Wish that would come this week :( So Jeremy would go get snow & bring it into the kids in the hot tub. They thought it was the coolest. And good thing Jeremy hardly ever looks at the blog cause he probably would be mad about this picture! But seriously look at all the snow! It was awesome! Love ya Hunny! You look hot ;)
Tayden probably would have been fine to just do that for his birthday but since all he would say he wanted for his birthday was cake we thought we better give him some. So the Sunday after his birthday we had a little party at my Dad's. He LOVED the ballons, loved the cupcakes, loved his presents & HATED the cute hats! Him & Talan both. I think they pinched them or something. Oh well everyone else liked them!

Here I am feeling all bad about the cute pictures Kara always gets of Lydia but I realize now that half the battle is getting a kid that stays still for more than two seconds! The other half is talent which I don't have but it would be nice to have the holding still part going for me!
